Royal Caribbean International Statement:
“Beginning at midnight tonight, we are pausing all Cruise Brands fleet’s US sailings and resuming operations on April 11th, 2020. Royal Caribbean International understands the gravity of the public health crisis confronting the country.
We are taking immediate action by reaching out to all guests who are booked on affected sailings, starting with those departing as early as tomorrow. We need your assistance to also contact your clients directly, especially those scheduled to depart this weekend. We will be updating you with more information and compensation details as quickly as possible.”
Unfortunately as your Agents, this is the only official information we have at this time. Unofficially, we believe, you will receive a 125% future cruise credit which can be applied toward any future cruise through 12/31/2021. For guests who wish to not avail themselves of the 125% future cruise credit, a 100% refund of the fare paid will be reimbursed to the original form of payment.
We have been waiting for hours for an official clarification of your options and as a top account; we are shocked that they have made this announcement without distributing specific option details in writing.
