Royal Caribbean International, the parent company of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, & Azamara Cruises has sent out the following notification that will affect your upcoming cruise:
Today, we have extended the suspension of global operations for sailings scheduled to depart on or before June 11, 2020. This measure is taken in accordance with the recent guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). We are still hopeful that a return to service ahead of summer vacation plans could be possible, but the current situation remains beyond our control. Above all, we recognize the importance of continued social distancing in containing the further spread of this illness.
For your now cancelled cruise, we will automatically issue you a Future Cruise Credit at 125% value to come back and sail with us by December 31st, 2021.
- This amount will be based on your total cruise fare paid. And, we’re giving a little extra, knowing that this is such a unique circumstance.
- We will automatically issue your Future Cruise Credit within two weeks of cancellation via e-mail to both the you and your travel advisor.
- If you pre-purchased any shore excursions or onboard amenities/packages – such as internet, beverage, dining, and more – an automatic refund will be administered to the original form of payment. No action needed on your end, we’ve got this covered!
As your Agents, we at Vacation Superstore/Best Price Cruises are here to assist you. Currently, there is no need to cancel your cruise by calling us or by sending in a form. You will automatically receive your future cruise credit by email in the next 2 weeks per the cruise line.
We will be reaching out to you during the next weeks to review if you have received the credit and discuss your future possible booking. At that time, we will also discuss your option, if desired, to convert your 125% credit to a refund at 100% value of your cancelled cruise.
